My progression as a player has come mainly from my solid multitabling ability: I play 16 tables on Full Tilt Poker, usually 12 of 100NL Full Ring and 4 of 200NL Full Ring. I'll occasionally mix in some Rush Poker with the normal games and I usually generate somewhere between 1200 and 1500 per hour playing that combination.
